I enjoy it when the use of text on a cover is almost illustration in itself. Or as in this case the text somehow mirrors the image or becomes an extension of it.

The idea for this Blog is to present my Penguin Book collection, as a sort of archive for myself but also that others may also find it interesting. I plan to overtime post my entire collection as well as new editions I may purchase, come across, be given etc.

This is purely a visual blog, looking at Penguin design predominately. I will not be commenting on the texts themselves.

I hope my images will get better over time also...

'Saint Joan' was not my first Penguin purchase, or even my favourite, just the first that I came across so thank you Bernard Shaw we will see you again no doubt.
